EAA accessibility fixes for Shopify and WooCommerce stores. Real code, no overlay.

Since 28 June 2025, the European Accessibility Act (EAA) has applied to many online stores selling to consumers in the EU. We check your store against WCAG 2.1 AA / EN 301 549, fix the barriers in your theme code, and help you publish an honest accessibility statement.

Get a free 5-page mini-check

Fixed prices. One invoice from a German GmbH (ETHMO GmbH). Pay by bank transfer after your free mini-check. Reverse charge for EU B2B.

Why EAA Fix

We fix it, not just report it

Most audits end with a PDF. We change your theme's Liquid, PHP, CSS and JavaScript and give you a list of every change.

No overlay widget

Overlay toolbars don't fix the underlying code. We fix the source, so nothing extra loads in your store.

EU-wide, German company

The EAA applies across the EU. You deal with a registered German GmbH with clear invoices and a VAT ID, not an anonymous app.

How it works

  1. Free mini-check: send your store URL. We check up to 5 pages and email you the main issues.
  2. Pick a package if you want help. We confirm scope and price by email. Nothing is binding until you confirm.
  3. We do the work: report and statement, or fixes on a duplicate theme or staging copy for you to review.
  4. Invoice and payment: you get an invoice from ETHMO GmbH and pay by SEPA or international bank transfer.

Pricing

All prices are net, invoiced in EUR. VAT is added where applicable. Reverse charge applies for EU business customers with a valid VAT ID.

FAQ

Does the European Accessibility Act apply to my online store?

The EAA has applied since 28 June 2025 to e-commerce services offered to consumers in the EU. Micro-enterprises providing services (fewer than 10 employees and annual turnover or balance sheet total of at most €2 million) are generally exempt. The details are set by each country's national law. We can't give legal advice. If you're unsure, ask a lawyer.

What standard do you test against?

WCAG 2.1 level AA, which the harmonised European standard EN 301 549 refers to for web content. We combine automated checks with manual keyboard and screen reader testing.

Do you install an accessibility overlay widget?

No. Overlay toolbars don't change your theme code, so the underlying barriers usually remain. We fix the theme templates, CSS and JavaScript directly and document every change.

Which platforms do you support?

Shopify (Online Store 2.0 and older themes) and WooCommerce/WordPress themes. For other platforms, ask us. The free mini-check works for any public website.

How does the free mini-check work?

You send us your store URL using the form below. We check up to 5 pages (for example home, collection, product, cart and one content page) and email you the main issues we found. There's no obligation and no automatic upsell.

How do I pay?

After the free mini-check, if you order a package, you receive an invoice in EUR from ETHMO GmbH, a German limited company. You pay by SEPA or international bank transfer. Prices are net. For EU business customers with a valid VAT ID, the reverse charge mechanism applies.

Do you need access to my store?

For the fix packages, yes. On Shopify, a staff or collaborator account with theme permissions is enough, and we work on a duplicate theme that you publish once you've reviewed it. On WooCommerce, we usually work on a staging copy or a child theme.

Will my store be 100% compliant afterwards?

Nobody can honestly guarantee that. Automated tools find only part of the issues, and content changes all the time. We fix the issues we've agreed on, re-test them and document the status so your accessibility statement is accurate.

Request a free mini-check or a package

Submitting this form is a non-binding request. For paid packages, we confirm scope and price by email first. The order becomes binding only after you confirm.

Important

EAA Fix is a technical service, not legal advice. We are not a law firm or a certification body, and we don't guarantee that a website fully meets the requirements of the European Accessibility Act or any national law. Automated tests detect only part of possible barriers.
